Cupcake decorating workshops at Millennium Point
Millennium Point is adding to its wide range of family activities during the summer holiday period by hosting cupcake decorating classes.
In conjunction with Frost and Snow, Birmingham’s premium hand-made cupcake bakery, the impressive atrium at Millennium Point will be transformed into a cake lovers’ dream.
The classes, which start on Friday 10 August at 10am, are suitable for all ages, and whether a budding baker or a complete novice, you’re sure to have fun learning the craftsmanship and skills which go into creating these tasty treats.
Philip Singleton, CEO at Millennium Point said, “Millennium Point is one of the city’s key venues for visitor attractions and we’re keen to expand the range of activities on offer.
“Whether you’re watching a film at The Giant Screen, or visiting Thinktank and the newly opened Science Garden, the cupcake decorating workshops provide added ingredients to your visit”.
Sarah Frost, Bakery Manager at Frost and Snow Bakery in Snow Hill, Birmingham said, “We’re really excited to be working with Millennium Point during the summer holidays to provide a fun and hands on experience for cupcake lovers.
“This will significantly benefit the work we already do as a social enterprise bakery, as a number of our volunteers will also take part in the workshops providing tuition and guidance. We can’t wait to see you there!”
The cupcake classes will be held on 10th, 14th, 17th, 21st, 24th and 31st August starting at 10am until 4pm.
Participants can purchase cupcake bases for just £1 and decorate them using a range of different frostings and decorations, making a beautiful gift to take home, or simply to enjoy on the day.
