Millennium Point celebrates a BIG 10th Birthday
Millennium Point will be adding a touch of magic to its 10th anniversary this month when two of the stars of the Harry Potter films, Oliver and James Phelps, attend its BIG 10th Birthday Party.
On Saturday 24th September, tenants, people associated with the development and a selection of members of the public will also be invited to a party with a difference.
Guests to Millennium Point’s BIG 10th Birthday Party will be able to play oversized party games, enjoy some larger-than-life circus performances, experience an exciting science show and meet the actors who played the infamous Weasley twins in the Harry Potter films.
Oliver Phelps, who played George Weasley, said: “Both James and I are huge fans of the building and recently presented an award at a ceremony held at Millennium Point that celebrated young filmmakers.
“Being from Sutton Coldfield, we’re very proud to be associated with a successful Millennium Project that is both home to some fantastic facilities and is right on our doorstep.”
Millennium Point is England’s largest Millennium Project outside of London, it attracts well over 1 million visitors each year and is home to a host of educational and private sector tenants.
Karen Stead, acting chief executive at Millennium Point, said: “It has been a fantastic ten years for Millennium Point and this party is about both recognising our achievements and thanking the tenants and visitors who have helped to make us a success. It will be a real family day out with music, cake, fun and games and we’re sure our guests will have a great time!
“We’re all looking forward to what the next ten years hold in store and are confident that Millennium Point can go from strength to strength – Happy Birthday, Millennium Point!”
