Opening Times
Millennium Point is a public building accessible between 07:00am – 23:00pm 7 days a week, except 25 December.
The opening times of our tenants may differ. Please check with them directly.

How to Get Here
NB. The following roads are closed near Millennium Point: Albert Street, Banbury Street and Bartholomew Street.
By Car
There is a multi-storey car park owned and managed by Birmingham City Council situated adjacent to Millennium Point. The car park can be accessed via Jennens Road. Millennium Point is clearly signposted from all main routes into the city – simply follow the brown tourist signs. The nearest motorways are the M6, M5 and M42.
NB. If using sat nav please use the following postcode- B4 7AP.
The multi-storey car park has a height restriction of 2.1m (6’10”). If you have special vehicle access requirements, call us on 0121 202 2214 before your visit.
Please note – Birmingham City Council multi-storey car park accepts cash or card payments. An HSBC cash point is situated on Level 0 within Millennium Point.
By Rail
The nearest train station is Moor Street station (10 mins walk away) and then New Street Station (15 mins walk away). Snowhill station is also close by (15 mins walk away).
Please note – Improvements to New Street Station have seen the entrance to the new concourse change, Access to the station is now off Stephenson Street

By Foot
Millennium Point is less than a 10 minute walk from Moor Street Station.
- From Moor Street Station, Walk away from the Bull Ring, along Moor Street Ringway.
- At Hotel LaTour turn right and pass in front of the Hotel, Follow the pavement as it bends left along Albert Street, the HIVE apartment complex will be to your left.
- Take the crossing over Albert Street and walk through Eastside City Park. Millennium Point will now be directly ahead of you.
By Bus
From the City Centre to Millennium Point entrance on Jennens Road catch numbers 14 (stop BS7), 55/55A 90 or 94 (stop BS9) from The Priory Queensway (opposite Argos) to Jennens Road (stop JR1).
From St Martin’s Queensway (outside of New Street Rail Station) catch numbers 98/99 or X64 (stop NS1) two stops to The Priory Queensway (stop BS11), from where it is a 10 minute walk to Millennium Point via Moor Street Queensway and Jennens Road.

Disabled Access
All public areas of Millennium Point are fully accessible for wheelchair users. There are two lifts located in the centre of the building which provide access to all four floors. Disabled toilet facilities are provided on each level of the building, plus we have an adult changing facility available within the Thinktank museum.
Free parking is available for Blue Badge holders in the Millennium Point multi-storey car park, which offers direct level access to the building. (Note – the car park is owned and managed by Birmingham City Council). If you have any difficulties, our security staff within the building will be happy to offer guidance.
