This event hosted by Birmingham City University will welcome Key Stage 3 and 4 students to explore a range of STEM courses and careers throughout their visit in a fun, informative manner. Year 7, 8, 9, and 10 students who study at state schools in the West Midlands are invited to book onto the event, which will offer information, advice and guidance in this introduction to the world of STEM.

Pupils will attend for 2-2½ hours and will have an introductory keynote session from a ‘mad scientist’ who will give a demonstrative talk on various elements of STEM.

Following this, learners will be free to walk around an interactive careers fair in the heart of Millennium Point, whereby representatives from higher education institutions, local business and national public and private organizations will be on hand to give demonstrations and information on numerous topics related to STEM.

This event is suitable for year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students who study at state schools in the West Midlands.
