Millennium Point is inviting science fiction film fans to enjoy a mix of classics and new releases with the arrival of Sci-Fi season at its Giant Screen cinema next month.

Highly anticipated new release Interstellar will form the blockbusting centrepiece of the season, with an extended run from Friday 7 November – Thursday 11 December. Directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway, the film follows a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

Sci-Fi classics Wall-ETerminator 2Gravity 3D2001: A Space Odyssey and Aliens: The Director’s Cutwill also be screened throughout the season.
