Millennium Point is pleased to announce a partnership with photography project Some Cities as part of its ongoing arts programme.

Some Cities co-founders Andrew Jackson and Dan Burwood were asked to curate a selection of images for exhibition on Millennium Point’s vast Atrium screen.

Some Cities is a city-wide social project inviting photographers, of all abilities, to share their images of Birmingham with the world via a dedicated online platform. Driven by a shared ambition to see Birmingham become a UK centre of photography, the project has generated an extensive digital archive of life in the city via user-submitted content.

Anyone with a passion for sharing and documenting their stories through photos – Birmingham-based businesses, organisations, individuals – can submit photographs as long as they are taken in Birmingham.

Add your image of the city via Twitter by using the hashtags #somecities and #brumfotos or emailing  birmingham@some-cities.com
