Judith Armstrong


As CEO, Judith heads up Millennium Point Property Limited and Millennium Point Trust – a position she has held since autumn 2015. 

Her role is to provide leadership, define our vision, work with both boards and ensure that all teams and areas remain focused so that the objectives of both organisations (both business and charitable) are realised, remain viable, deliver and continue to be relevant for all stakeholders. 

CIMA qualified, Judith is a commercially driven business woman with over 20 years of experience in operations and finance.  Judith started her career in 1996 when she was appointed as finance assistant at large international logistics firm, TNT. Judith’s talents for streamlining processes and improving financial reporting did not go unnoticed and she quickly worked her way up the career ladder.  After seven happy years at TNT, she moved onto a financial reporting role at DHL.

Judith spent eight years at DHL, where she worked in capital investment and finance management, eventually becoming finance director at the age of 29 where she reported to the CEO of DHL’s UK division. Whilst there, Judith was part of the Women in Leadership board, helping to support and promote women into senior positions.

In 2012, Judith joined Millennium Point as finance director and after three years was promoted to chief operating officer where she led and managed a team tasked with delivering profit-making events within the building. 

Judith is also Chair of Eastside Forum – a platform for public, private, not-for-profit and other stakeholders operating within the region in order to share best practice, joint working initiatives and support the growth and development of the region.


Neil Anderson

Director of Marketing, Communications and Events

Neil joined Millennium Point in December 2013 and his role is to support both the work of Millennium Point Property Limited and Millennium Point Trust.  Acting as Deputy to the CEO, he oversees the organisation’s audience development and engagement strategic development and implementation, fundraising initiatives and grant processes.  Raising profile, positioning and forging partnerships is central to his role – promoting the work of Millennium Point and creating more opportunities for more people to enjoy and work with the project.

Neil’s background is a blends private, publicly-funded, voluntary and not-for-profit.  He spent ten years at Cadbury Plc in a variety of sales and marketing roles including new product development, project management, account management, presence and instore communications.  He was also Marketing and Communications Manager at Cadbury World.  He spent three and a half years as Head of Audience Development and Commercial for Sandwell Arts Trust which ran and operated The Public in West Bromwich – overseeing the marketing, events, commercial programming, conference, box office and catering functions. 

Alongside his professional work, he has been Trustee of Fircroft College and Full Potential Arts, has sat on regional tourism and destination boards, is the Chair of the Midland LGBT Employee Network and has been Chair of Birmingham’s SHOUT Festival of Queer Arts since 2012.


Vanessa Currie

Head of People, Learning and Development

Vanessa is Head of People, Learning and Development and leads on the delivery of our people management strategies which support Millennium Point’s overall business aims and objectives.

She has over 20 years’ HR experience including roles at Asda Stores Limited, West Mercia Constabulary and Mettis Aerospace. Vanessa has also spent time working as a freelance consultant providing advice and insights to a wide range of clients and organisations.

Her key areas of interest include linking the strategic aims of Millennium Point to the People agenda and ensuring all team members are equipped to realise their full potential.

Sukhdev Heer

Head of Facilities

Sukhdev Heer has over 15 years Facilities Management experience form operational delivery to strategic planning and is a Certified Member of the British Instituter of Facilities Management.

His previous roles include working for large blue chip multi-site companies such as Claire’s, ATS Euromaster, EC Harris, Morrison Supermarkets and the YHA.

Sukhdev Has been instrumental in setting the 10-year maintenance strategy for Millennium Point and shaping the facilities strategy for improved service to the tenants and customers of the building.

Outside of work Sukhdev is a governor at Hamstead Infants primary school where he sits on the finance and people committee.

Ian Leslie

Finance Director

In April 2016, Ian became Finance Director at Millennium Point and is responsible for the overall financial integrity both Millennium Point Property Limited and Millennium Point Trust as well as ensuring the profitability of the businesses in order to ensure their commitments are met.

Ian is a commercially focussed business professional with 13 years of experience in a variety of different roles within the finance function.

Before joining Millennium Point in 2015, Ian worked for WM Housing Group.

Starting there as an apprentice back in 2003, Ian worked his way up through the business from apprentice to an accountant before moving to Millennium Point to become Senior Finance Manager.
