The home of ThinkTank (Birmingham’s science museum) and Birmingham City University amongst others, many of you will know our landmark building, but a lot more goes on behind the scenes than meets the eye!
Owned by Millennium Point Charitable Trust, everything we do as a landlord, events venue, meeting place and facilitator feeds back into our charity, in order to give back and support science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) related projects, initiatives, organisations and individuals across the West Midlands.
The Event Sales Co-ordinator role involves working closely alongside our Event Sales Supervisor and Sales Manager to achieve our events income targets as well as liaising with customers, colleagues and contractors to plan and execute outstanding activity (across corporate and private event hires, conference and banqueting, profile-raising activity, and cultural initiatives).
The chosen candidate will need to have:
- Experience in a previous office based Event Sales Co-ordinator role
- Experience of achieving sales based targets.
- Experience of planning events and managing customer expectations.
- Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
