Job Summary:

Hours: varied throughout the week including evening and weekend working

Terms: Zero Hour Contract

Salary: £10.42 per hour (National Living Wage)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with hospitality experience to assist with our busy Events and Conferencing business on a zero-hour basis.

The post-holder will have strong customer service and hospitality experience, punctual and be able to work flexible hours.

We are looking for someone reliable and self-motivated to:

  • prepare venue hire spaces ready for events including setting up tables, chairs, equipment and refreshments
  • start of day walk arounds and checks (i.e. cleanliness of events space, equipment availability; crockery and cutlery provision etc.) and that WIFI, signage and building features are in working order
  • oversee and deliver the changeover of events spaces
  • deliver front of house support for a wide range of events
  • replenish stock for meeting rooms and bar
  • assist the AV Technician with basic AV tasks i.e. setting up projectors and laptops

Millennium Point is home to a number of versatile event spaces serving 2 – 350 delegates with a range of events from meetings to dinners, conferences and AGMs.
