Carbon Literacy Training for Planners

About this event
On Monday 20th June, our Connect space will be hosting a training session for Birmingham City Council officers who are involved in planning policy and decision making. The event is being run by Centre for Sustainable Energy, providing an introduction to the climate emergency, its impacts, policy and the role of planners in the climate crisis, adaptation and mitigation.
The training session will also cover in more detail, specific areas where there are implications for planning in helping to address the issues. It will combine a mixture of presentations, videos, break out workshops and participant feedback.
