We are a Birmingham-based charity which supports and delivers a range of activities promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) related education in the Midlands.

How does it work?

The Trust owns the Millennium Point building, which fronts Eastside City Park and is opposite the new HS2 Birmingham Curzon Station. The building provides workspace, offices and studios to tenants as well as offering creative working and learning environments and hosting events, training, conferences and exhibitions. Since 2013, the commercial activities of the building has enabled the trust to donate more than £4m to organisations, projects and initiatives.

Our mission is to:

  • Provide a focus for activities aimed at developing the technological base of the region and providing a catalyst for the continued regeneration of Birmingham
  • To provide a major visitor attraction on science and technology themes
  • To provide a central facility for education
  • To act as a beacon for technological development both by its design and linkages between the key element.
  • To provide a high-quality social space for residents of the region and visitors, creating a new focus of activity for the continued regeneration of the city centre

Over the years, we have provided grants to a number of organisations which have complemented our mission and objectives or helped us to deliver our work.
