About this event
Join us to see in the end of term with Repertoire Orchestra and some much-loved ballet music, with selections from the suites from Tchaikovsky’s ‘Sleeping Beauty’, ‘Swan Lake’ and seasonal favourite ‘The Nutcracker’.
Before this, the orchestra will play a poignant tone poem by Lilian Elkington, ‘Out of the Mist’ and mark (belatedly, for COVID reasons) last year’s 70th birthday of RBC’s former head of composition Andrew Downes with a performance of his concert overture ‘Towards a New Age’.
