Eastside’s Millennium Point is showing its support to the UK’s thriving creative sector, after joining national membership organisation, The Creative Industries Federation.

Funded by its members, The Creative Industries Federation brings together all of the UK’s arts, creative and cultural education industries to speak with extra clout. It works with its members to ensure the next generation of artists and creators have the support, training and entrepreneurialism to thrive.

Judith Armstrong, CEO at Millennium Point, said: “The creative industries generate more than £84 billion a year to the UK economy; therefore it’s crucial that as an arts and cultural establishment, we support organisations that are continuing to champion the growth of the creative sectors.

“We are proud to be a member of The Creative Industries Federation. Organisations such as this allow us to have a voice in issues of crucial importance to the vibrancy of the UK’s creative sector.”
