The all-day event being held on the 25th September will be a day of networking and listing to top influencing speakers. Along with this there will be entertainment provided by some of the best in Birmingham who will be singing, dancing, and rapping for visitors to enjoy.
TEDx Aston University will also have refreshments offered throughout the day and includes vegan and meat option meals for lunch.
Unleashing your untapped potential
Throughout the day there will be opportunities to interact with international speakers on points such as digital identity and mental well-being. The event looks to go into topics such as identity ownership, valuing relationships with nature, and using drama to help troubled youth.
The event will also see a mystery speaker who is a world-renowned artist who will be sure to amaze visitors during the day.
Towards the end of TEDx Aston University there will be workshops conducted to help educate and help you ‘untap’ your potential.
Learn something new
Students and non-students alike will find the event inspirational with ‘thought provoking’ talks and networking sessions. With a wide range of topics to be discussed, there will be something for everyone to learn and take away with them at the event.
This year’s theme is chosen to identify and showcase the lesser known but impactful people, businesses, and ideas of Birmingham to the world.
The day is hoping to ‘challenge perspectives’ and initiate conversations in the right direction. Visitors will also get the opportunity to network with influential businesses and emerging entrepreneurs from Birmingham and across the UK.
